About the Club
The Club was founded in 1929 to promote motorcycle and light car sport in what was then North Berkshire.
North Berks MCC is affiliated to the Southern Centre ACU. The Club became noted for its presentation of high profile National and International Grass Track events which started in the 60’s and carried on for many years, some Enduro’s ran in the 80's and 90's and the Club entered a team in the 1993 ISDE. However, now the Club is completely dedicated and recognised for its National and Club Trials.
As a Club we run a fair few Nationals throughout the year. We are holding the second round of the 2026 ACU S3-Parts National Trials Championship in February. We are hosting the third round of the ACU Southern Centre Trials Championship in March. We are also looking at holding a big event toward the end of the year, check back for more details soon.
We are bringing back the Club Championship for 2026. This will be run over our 5 club trials, all trials are open for anyone wishing to enter. Riders can compete across all five events, but only their best four results will count toward their final championship standings. This means one round can be dropped – whether due to bad luck, mechanical issues, or simply an off weekend. Riders must compete in at least 3 rounds to be eligible for an award at the end of the year.
We will hold the Award Presentation in December, either at a Christmas get-together or before our Boxing Day Trial, which is another fantastic event which is always well attended by riders and their families.
The Club also holds six or so practice sessions at Seymours Arena over the Summer months which are very popular.
