Southern Centre Championship
2025 ACU Southern Centre Trials Championship.
SUNDAY 30 MARCH 2025.
SEYMOURS ARENA – Aston Tirrold, Nr Didcot, Oxon, OX11 9AW.
North Berks are proud to be running the third round of the ACU Southern Centre Trials Championship at Seymours Arena. The club haven’t held a round of this popular series for many years. The championship comprises of twelve core rounds this year. Riders must belong to a Southern Centre ACU Club to contend the Championship, but out of centre visitors are very welcome to enter any round on a no points basis. We hope to get a good entry accross all classes. There is ample parking at Seymours Arena for competitors and spectators, toilet facilities are provided.

Spring Club Trial
SUNDAY 13 APRIL 2025, 10:00 Start.

The event is open to all, online entry via the ACU website. It should be a good ride round with 4 laps of the infamous Seymours Arena. The expert sections will be challenging as you would expect but the lower class sections will be set out on the easier side, so should be a fun day for everyone. We hope to see you then.
The trial is open to non-members, entry is available through the ACU website now. Entry fee is £20 Adult, £15 Youth.
Summer Club Trial
SUNDAY 22 JUNE 2025, 10:00 Start.
STANDLAKE WOODS – Standlake, Oxon OX29 7PR. (Signposted off A415 Standlake To Witney Road)
We return to Standlake for this one. The event is open to all, online entry via the ACU website. It should be a good ride round with 4 laps of this great venue. The expert sections will be challenging as you would expect but the lower class sections will be set out on the easier side, so should be a fun day for everyone. We hope to see you then.
The trial is open to non-members, entry is available through the ACU/Sport80 system. Entry fee is £20 Adult, £15 Youth.

North Berks Charity Trial
SAT 16 / SUN 17 AUGUST 2025
SEYMOURS ARENA – Aston Tirrold, Nr Didcot, Oxon, OX11 9AW.
We are pleased to announce we are running our annual Charity Trial again this year. It is to be held at The Arena on 16/17 August. We will be donating to two local charities, so get yourself entered and bring the family for a great days sport. We are hoping to have a few top class riders join us.
We will be marking out five routes catering for all skill levels – from complete beginner which will be very straightforward to an Elite route for the top riders who compete at a national/international level.
Everyone is welcome to enter, it is an open event, as long as you’re a member of the ACU you’re good to go. Entry is now open online.
There will be a Pig Roast for you all to enjoy after the trial, we will be asking for a donation to go to our selected charities. We will also be holding a raffle with some great prizes as usual.

Past Events
The Wallace Cup Trial – Cancelled
The club were sad to announce that we would not be running The Wallace Cup National Trial this year due to difficulties with land and access to pivotal parts of the route.
We will definitely be back in 2026.
Boxing Day, Hangover Trial
THURSDAY 26 December 2024, 10:00 Start.

North Berks are delighted to be holding their traditional Boxing Day Trial on Thursday 26 December 2024 at Seymours Arena this year. Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to move the trial from The Moors, we will be back there next year though.
There will be 4 laps of 8 sections to complete, all classes from complete beginner to expert. The sections will be set out on the easier side for the main classes using the banks rather the the rocks. There may be a few rocks thrown in for the top boys and girls, but they love it. We aim to give everyone a nice steady fun day so do join us and blow those Christmas cobwebs away.
Online entry is available via the ACU Sport80 website now. Make sure you get those entries in, its always a popular one. Everyone is welcome to come along with friends and family for a bit of festive fun for a few hours. Starts 10:00am.
